Fees.

The initial assessment is a thorough analysis of your communicative skills. It includes 1 hour of face-to-face contact with a Speech Pathologist where you will discuss case history, complete a standardised or non-standardised assessment based on your needs, and collaboratively set goals that are functional and meaningful to you. Your therapist will then analyse your assessment and write a report detailing information about you, your assessment, and your goals. This will take them 1.5 hours. You will receive a copy of the report which you can provide to the NDIS if required. Please allow 2 weeks for the report to be completed.

After your initial assessment, your Speech Pathologist will recommend a frequency for you to access therapy. Therapy is most effective when it is regular and consistent. Please note that your therapist will require 10 minutes to write notes about your session which will be charged accordingly. This price is in accordance with the most recent NDIS price guide and is subject to change without notice.

If you require a report for your upcoming NDIS Review, your therapist will write a report detailing your current goals and progress and recommendations for the future. This will take 1.5 hours to write. Please notify your Speech Pathologist several weeks before your review if you require a report to ensure all documentation is submitted to the NDIS on time.

The development of visual supports and resources is charged in accordance with the current NDIS Price Guide under Speech Pathology. If you do not have NDIS funding or your school, workplace, or organisation would like to improve the accessibility of their spaces with tailored visual supports, please see below.

Your high-tech speech generating device (e.g., Proloquo2Go) will be personalised and programmed by a Speech Pathologist. This service is charged in accordance with the most recent NDIS price guide.

In accordance with the most recent NDIS Price Guide, travel is charged at the hourly rate of $193.99 per minute to a maximum of 30 minutes each way, plus 97c/km to cover non-labour costs.

We understand that unplanned issues arise and you may need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Should this occur, please contact us as soon as possible. Cancellations outside 24 hours before your appointment will not incur a fee. Cancellations within 24 hours will incur a 50% fee. Failure to attend an appointment with no prior communication will incur a fee equivalent to a normal session.

Additional fees may apply in the following circumstances: meeting with teachers or schools, communication with other health professionals, additional reports including NDIS reports and assistive technology reports, or additional work completed such as emails and phone calls. In most circumstances, these services will be charged per minute at the hourly rate.
