About Us.

Our Vision
An accessible world for all.
We aim to create a more accessible society, reducing communication barriers for neurodiverse individuals through innovative services and training programs.
Our Mission
Empowerment.
AYBL is dedicated to empowering neurodiverse individuals to express themselves and meaningfully engage with the world. We are committed to equipping the valuable members of their support networks with the knowledge and tools to unlock their potential. We believe that every individual deserves the opportunity to achieve their full potential.

Our Story.
AYBL is an initiative with a passionate commitment to transforming the lives of neurodiverse individuals and their support networks. We provide specialised services in Speech Pathology for individuals with complex communication profiles, and comprehensive training programs for teachers, educators, parents, and health professionals. Through years of working closely with neurodiverse individuals and their families, our founder, Jenna Cooper, saw the transformative power of Speech Pathology, but also the broader and unique challenges that individuals, their families, and their support networks faced at home, school, and in the community. She recognised a critical need for education outside of individual therapy sessions that could allow parents to better understand and connect with their child, equip educators with the skills to navigate diverse classrooms, and support health professionals to provide holistic care. AYBL was founded as a hub of knowledge and support, designed to bridge the gap between therapeutic interventions and the broader community. It is a space that elevates the collective capacity of individuals, parents, educators, health professionals, and caregivers to provide the best possible opportunities for neurodiverse individuals.

Jenna completed a Bachelor of Speech, Hearing and Language Sciences at Macquarie University, and a Master of Speech Pathology at the University of Technology Sydney. Her thesis investigated the accessibility of the NDIS website for current and future participants and has since been presented at the 2022 AGOSCI Conference in Hobart, and directly to the NDIA. Whilst working at Giant Steps, a school for autistic students in Sydney, she went on to complete a Graduate Certificate of Autism Studies at Griffith University. Jenna has continued to share her expertise in neurodiversity and AAC, presenting her research and projects at the 2023 Speech Pathology Australia Conference, Giant Steps Sydney, and as a Guest Lecturer of Speech Pathology at UTS. Her commitment to life-long learning is highlighted through her recent research with UTS, investigating the practical use of Generative AI platforms in educational settings for children and young adults with additional learning needs.
Growing up in the Northern Rivers, she has firsthand knowledge and an in-depth understanding of the challenges regional areas face when trying to access health services. She aims to share her knowledge with local communities, educators, parents, and health workers to empower them to confidently provide accessible support to neurodiverse individuals.
Outside of work, you’ll find Jenna inventing new recipes in the kitchen, at the gym, catching up with friends and family, or at the beach with her dog Sammy.
